How we look after your data, and the terms of buying a ticket.
Who we are
Magma Festival is organised by Tilopa d.o.o., Zvečaj 123, 47250 Duga Resa, Croatia, registered at the Commercial Court in Karlovac, MBS 040392594, OIB 97470684807. Tilopa d.o.o. is responsible for the personal data described on this page.
For any question about your data, write to info@magma-festival.com.
What we collect and why
- Tickets: your name, email and payment details, so we can sell you a ticket, issue it and let you in. Card payments are processed by Stripe and we never see or store your card number.
- Accommodation and meal reservations: your name, email, phone, the number of adults, the names and ages of children, your choices and notes, so we can prepare your tent and meals. This form runs on Google Forms.
- Newsletter: your email, and your phone number if you choose to leave it, only if you sign up, so we can send you festival news. The list runs on Mailchimp, and every email has a link to unsubscribe.
- Messages: whatever you write to us by email or phone, so we can answer you.
We process this data to fulfil our agreement with you, to meet our legal obligations, such as accounting and tax, and, for the newsletter, on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who else sees it
We never sell your data. We share it only with the services that help us run the festival: Stripe for payments, Google for the reservation form, Mailchimp for the newsletter, and our bank and accountant where the law requires. These services are bound to use the data only for the purpose we set, and data transferred outside the EU is protected by the safeguards EU law requires.
Our WhatsApp community is run by WhatsApp. When you join it, your phone number is visible to other members under WhatsApp's own rules.
How long we keep it
We keep ticket and reservation data for as long as you are our guest, and accounting records for as long as the law requires. Newsletter addresses stay on the list until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, unless we must keep it by law.
Your rights
- to know whether and which of your data we process, and to get a copy;
- to have incorrect or outdated data corrected;
- to have your data deleted;
- to restrict how we use your data;
- to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time;
- to complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).
To use any of these rights, email info@magma-festival.com with the subject “Data request”. We will confirm that we have received it and reply within 30 days.
Cookies
This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. It only remembers your language choice in your own browser. The services we link to, such as Stripe, Google, Mailchimp and WhatsApp, use their own cookies under their own policies.
Ticket refunds
The ticket price is refunded only if the festival is cancelled, moved to other dates, or its program or key artists change substantially. It is not refunded for personal reasons such as illness, work or a change of plans. Under Article 79 of the Croatian Consumer Protection Act, the right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services held on a fixed date.
If a refund is agreed, we return the ticket price to the card or account you paid with. Transaction costs and your own travel or other costs are not refunded. If the festival does not take place, please tell us within seven days of the planned start.
Tickets are personal. Please do not share their codes, and do not resell them without our agreement.
Complaints
Under Article 10 of the Consumer Protection Act you can send a written complaint to info@magma-festival.com or by post to Tilopa d.o.o., Zvečaj 123, 47250 Duga Resa, Croatia. Please include your name and an address for our reply. We will answer in writing within 15 days.
